Eeek!

Last night went well-thank Goodness. We are having a Chinese take-away tonight. I shall have the noodles and keep me paws off the crackers!
Lunch was with the girls and Claire made the soup so the points are estimated.
I didn’t walk the dogs today…..DARN!

Phew!

Well, Peter came home this afternoon. The challenge is on! He has just nipped down to buy some beer and dinner….please, please don’t let me drink the beer or eat the chips. So far today (5:30 pm) I have had…

Delicious Dog Food!

Not too much happening today. I’m still in the zone though. Why? If only I could find out what makes one go for it I would be very rich. It was the same when I stopped smoking, donkey’s years ago. Once I made up my mind it was easy.
I think I’m getting into a rut food wise so need to jazz it up a bit in case I get bored. Also should drink more water.
Mmm! Just fed the dogs and it smelt delicious! Definitely need to jazz it up.

Out to Lunch.

Well I survived lunch with Betty! We went to John Lewis and I ordered some lovely mushroom pasta but the (nosey parker, ear wigging our conversation and hearing the word diet) waitress, piped up with ‘we do lovely tomato pasta which has no cream and therefore less calories’ Bloody cheek! I (reluctantly) had to have it then, which I suppose was a good thing.
I wore my new waspish waisted coat but sadly had to leave the waspish belt off…..looked like a sack of tatties tied in the middle. Never mind….soon I hope.
I did however wear my push up bra that my son- in –law hooted with laughter at when I wore it on Sunday…… (I recall the expression ‘nipples up your nose’ was used)… Stu, I’ve lengthened the straps!!

No breckie in anticipation of a slap up lunch.

I Know! It's all Water.

I’ve lost 7lbs! I can’t believe it. Wow!
I know at the start one loses a lot of water so I can’t lose that much every week. I am hoping for about 2lbs a week. I had a headache all last night and most of today. I was a bit panicky as I thought my alcohol tolerance was dropping! Perhaps it has taken a week for me to get a hangover!
I’m off to town tomorrow with Mother in law who wants to buy me lunch………………..bit of a challenge there. Just to keep me inspired I think I might wear my new waspish waisted coat.

7 Days and Still on Track. Hurrah!

I’m so thrilled to have made it through the weekend without blowing it. The family came to lunch and I did have some wine but stopped after 2 (large) glasses.

The weekend is looming! If I go overboard you will know as I shall be typing this under the influence!.....................NO! I’m going to be good.
P.S. Am shocked by how little money I've spent! Off to M&S tomorrow then! Can't have money jingling around in my bag.

Yikes!

Lunch went well thank goodness. There was a dangerous packet of delicious chocolate and plain shortbread that I couldn’t keep my eyes off. I didn’t eat any but would you believe Claire’s gazelle like mother was scarfing them down. Honestly! There is no justice.

I am feeling the benefit of walking the dogs. Mind you, today I ventured off the path and into the woods only to find myself near what looked liked a badger set. Horrified I might disturb them I tiptoed away and slipped on the wet leaves. As I skidded down hill I grabbed a branch of a tree that was growing very close to another one…..a hair’s breath to the left and I would have been firmly wedged! Can you imagine the humiliation?

Great grub today. I loved the couscous.

Boring! Thank Goodness for the Snack-a-Jacks.





Just the dogs and me in the house all day so no challenges.
However! I’m off to lunch at my daughter-in-law’s (Claire) with my daughter (Sarah) and their four daughters tomorrow. If Claire has not had a Tesco delivery I shall be ok! (Last time she had a delivery she was on the phone asking me to babysit and had to put me on hold while she dealt with it. I was round there before she had time to hang up the phone!)

And We're Off.

Just jumped on scales and weigh ? stone and 12 pounds. I would like to lose 6 stone but 5 would be great!

Owing to an early dental appointment I skipped breakfast only to be told off by the dentist and forced to eat a high calorie energy pill!
Why couldn’t he just give me a chunk of chocolate?

Don’t know what diet to follow. I think I shall look out an old weight watchers book, due to being on an economy drive I shall not go to a class.

I have bought healthy food for a week.

When Peter is away I have to walk the dogs 3-4 times a day so there is another plus.

I’ll add food and drink intake tonight.

Energy pill! Points = 16

No water...I have a headache. No booze. DTs tomorrow perhaps.

Fatty Boom Boom

Quite good news…
A) I have to have half a molar taken out and the other half root canal treated on Monday morning at 9 so will be a good start as won’t want food.
B) Husband (Peter) is off to Spain that night so won’t be tempted to drink.
Am feeling very positive today but must have chocolate before Monday.……………Why?

Fatty Boom Boom

I am so pissed off with my weight that I'm going 'public' on Monday.
I shall tell all who wish to hear exactly what I eat and drink every day. I'm not going to tell you my weight now but will let you know how much I lose.
Someone out there.....please stop me.


Thursday. What on earth am I doing? I went to bed last night and kept thinking of all the things I must eat and drink before Monday! It's not as if I will never have cake again.
I have yoyoed so much in my life. I seem to be able to dicipline myself enough to lose loads of weight but........well, it is all or nothing with me. I can't keep it off.
