Another Good Day.

A good day today despite going to Sarah's for coffee and her coming to me for lunch. I defrosted 1 slice of carrot cake for her and she left some and the icing. Well I just had to have a bit! 1.5 points is too many but better to err on the right side.
Peter is away for another week (woowee!) This is giving me a good restart with no booze or take-aways.

A Good Start.....And Then!

I went to W.W and am glad to have done so. It has inspired me.
Today started well. I baby sat Kate and Elizabeth and had my breakfast and lunch at their house. When I got home I was starving and popped a chocolate or two into my mouth before I walked the dogs. I am so pathetic! THEN I opened an Easter egg to break up and put in the bin but some ended up in my mouth! Aarrgg.
W.W. say I should have 24 points a day.

New Leaf.

Thats right! I'm turning over a new leaf. Again! Tomorrow I shall go to Weight Watcher's. This should get me up and running again.
Before Annie's birthday I weighed less than when I started this blog but have had to cope with Easter and a trip tp Spain!!

Ok, Ok So I Gained a Few Pounds!

Jumped on scales this morning and have gained a few pounds. I am not suprised as I have had far too many drinks, (Oh! ok and food). On the positive side, it has shocked me into taking this more seriously again.
I have Annie's 30th to contend with and of course Easter. I had intended to sart again after those events but...now is the hour!
I shall weigh every day this week.

Happy......ish!

I did get weighed in the end and have gained 2,3lbs. I think I got off lightly as yesterday I threw at my face a bacon roll, slice of tortilla, crossant, birthday cake and x3 bucks fizz's before 1pm! So, with that in mind today is quite good. 'Losing It' and I are finding the 2 stone marker quite elusive. The race is on for next Monday. ( What she doesn't know is that I plan to lose another 2 stone while she is eating her way around the world!)

Back on Track Tomorrow.

My weight stayed the same on the 23rd Feb and I lost 3lbs this week.
Back on track tomorrow. I plan to count my fruit and veg. Should we have five of each? It just goes to show though. I haven't been dieting but watching my weight. I could be dehydrated of course!
P.S. I did not a custard tart! Smartarse will be proud of me.

Things have been pretty bad. I don't seem to be able to get back into the groove. Smartarse is quite right about the fruit, veg and water. The thing is I have had some but not put it down....fruit and veg are nearly nothing!.
So. This is my new plan. Carolyn (thin sister) is coming up on Wednesday for a week. Now she won't make me over-eat, however she does like the odd custard tart and glass of wine. My plan is to tell you all everything I eat next week, but (like Jacky) I won't count the points. This way I shall watch what I eat and not go overboard. Carolyn will be here from Wed-Tues. I shall count points on the days she is not here.

Weigh or no Weigh?

Well I have been very bad. Right off the rails BUT still not consuming as much as I used to. I don't know if I should weigh myself tomorrow or not. On Friday night I popped into a 50th birthday party for half an hour as I had a cold and wanted an early night......I arrived at 8 and left at 2!!!!Used a lot of calories though!
I MUST NOT DRINK TILL FRIDAY....AND I SHALL BE VERY VERY GOOD ALL WEEK.

2.2 Off or .2 Off!

Jumped on scales first thing and thrilled to find 2.2 came off. HOWEVER! Whilst contemplating in the bath I wondered if I had mis-read the scales. I couldn't jump on again in case I had absorbed too much water! Either way I lost. 2.2 or .4.
Peter opened the tin of Roses I was keeping for Easter!!! I have had 4 today!!
I hearby swear to scrub the garden room floor with a toothbrush if I have any more from that tin.

Fifi La-Bonbon.

I came home from work on Thurs to find Peter waiting for me with news that my little dog Fifi had been hit by one of those small scrambler bikes. She was so shocked that she took off into the woods and Peter couldn't find her. It was dark and frosty and I searched and searched. I used up a second lot of batteries in my torch. At 10.30 I came home to make posters (a very good idea of Sarah's) I put them up in the park that night and Sarah put them up in the village on Fri morning. The search went on in the park by lovely friends, neighbours, Annie and Dave. After a prank call...complete with howling dog in background! Peter got a phone call on Sat. Fifi was found on the old railway line at the back of Tesco's (I have told and told that dog to use Waitrose as a better class of bitch go there) Peter searched the place she was seen for over an hour before she crawled out from under a shrub. Safe, well but filthy!
The upshot is I have not blogged or even thought what I have been eating. I think I am ok! Back to norm today.

I lost 2.2lbs on Monday!
I have had quite a good week. I stuck to within my 22 points a day but only when all 7 days were added up! Because I was a bit naughty and still lost it is harder to get back. Although I jotted down all last weeks food I won't bore you with the details.

Phew! I Think I'm Back.

I feel great! No booze yesterday or today and no D.Ts either, so perhaps am not an alkie after all. I missed breakfast and so had a ww biscuit for elevenses which was delish. Couldn't face porridge and so had half a cup of someone else's soup!

Today I stuffed my face at Sarah's. I had no breakfast and was starving!! Enough said. It is now 7.30 and I am gagging for a drink or a biscuit but shall resist.
To help I have joined weight watcher's at home (free 2 week trial) It has taken me far too long to work out how to use it! Do any of you use it?
Losing It's idea of taking porridge to work for lunch is a good one. I shall do that tomorrow and have fruit for breakfast.

I only put on .4lbs so very pleased. I did go to pub today though. I had a hard time at work! Well, that is my excuse.
Fellow blogger and follower Liz gave me a great idea for lunches. I think one reason I go to pot is because I don't eat enough at work and so am famished when I get home. I shall make rice and pasta lunches and NO MORE WINE!

Oh Sod It!

Had a very hectic day due to folk being off with this flu/cold thing. I felt a bit headachy and so forced myself to take a drink for medicinal purposes.

Porridge = 2
Cup-a-soup = 1
Bickie = 1
Small banana and low fat cheese!! On toast = 3
Soup = 4
Bread = 2
Mints x 2 = 1
Chockies x 4 = 5
Wine = 3
Whiskey = 2. = 24 Points. Oh sod it…………………

Must Try Harder.

Yesterday was a blinking nightmare. I didn't have the hot choc, instead I had 4 glasses of lovely red!! I then ate 5 sweeties. It is now 25 to 9 and I have struggled not to have a drink! Am I an alcaholic? I just couldn't resist after the drinks in the pub. I shall walk past in future and not look in.
Today hasn't been great but I have kept within my points.
I must have more fruit and veg. (Thought I'd get that in before Judy!)

Welcome Yvonne( She is thin!!)

Started my day at ??.4.6. My lowest this festive season has been ??.1 and highest was ??.5.3.
So Mon 22nd I was ??.1.8 which means I have gained 2.8 lbs. I feel ok about this and am sure that I will lose 3lbs by next Mon. I am dying to get under ?? stone. This is a benchmark that will thrill me to bits.
Well done to 'Losing It' Who has lost loads over the same period. Smart Arse, Clever Cloggs and Clever Knickers spring to mind but...............................Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah to you. xxx

Why did I look into the pub on the way home from work? Peter was sitting there with a cheery drink and I was drawn in. 6.5 points later!

So want to weigh myself tomorrow but Judy said no so shall resist.

Oooh! I Feel Most Odd!

Well, the McColls do was brilliant fun. I have no idea what I had to eat or drink. All I do know is that it was plenty! Consequently I had the hang over munchies today which was toast followed by biscuits followed by beef wellington with fizz followed by red wine followed by minty biscuits followed by mince pies....................groan! That is it now NO MORE! I shall be good tomorrow. I gained .5 lb today. Tomorrow will be huge but I shan't worry as I feel the zone coming on!

What do I do with these? Oooh they look so delicious! I have all these goodies plus the sweets on the sweetie tree.
Am off to a party tonight and the hostess, Louise makes the most amazing food so I think I shall eat nothing as if I start I might not stop. .7 of a pound off today.

Disaster Strikes.

Yesterday started off so well but all went downhill after two glasses of fizz. I scoffed the chinese and wine like someone possesed. Whilst clearing up, those bloody mince pies (about 8) kept jumping into the brandy cream and the cheeky wee things hopped straight into my mouth every time I walked by. The consequence is...2.5 on this morning! Ah well at least 'Losing It' should understand after her little slip yesterday. Hope today is better Judy. xxx.

Hurrah! Half a Pound Lighter Than Before Christmas.

I am being good but shall not count points today after all. I was so pleased to find that I have lost a pound which makes me half a pound lighter than I was before Christmas. Yes, yes I know it is dehydration but I am still happy. Thank you Losing It for insisting I weigh myself last Monday.
I shall have Chinese tonight (noodles) and a glass or two of fizz then on the straight and narrow tomorrow.
This blogging is such a help. I think Losing It's friend who is a computer buff but out of a job should think of doing something like this that we can join and help each other. The fact that there are no rules is a big plus for me.
